February 2015

A nice month with the AAFS (American Academy of Forensic Sciences) conference in Orlando from 16-21 February. For me it is a nice and busy meeting, with starting on Sunday the ASTM meeting.

- On Monday I am Chairing Workshop (W14) On the Leading Edge of Forensic Science 16 February 2015 where we have interesting presentation on forensic drone investigation, cybercrime, forensic data science, CBRNE,  Big Data, 3D Printing, Programmable Matter, Wearable Sensors, Storing Data in DNA, and Lab on a Chip, wearables in forensic science as well as facial comparison and CBRNE.
- On Tuesday I am speaker at Interdisciplinary Symposium - Past Presidents - Future Science: Hot Leads in Contemporary Forensic Research on Digital and Multimedia Sciences
On Wednesday morning at 7 pm as chairperson of the International Affairs Committee welcoming the international participants. I also hope to be elected as Vice President on Wednesday Afternoon.
On Thursday I am giving two presentations Large-Scale, Common-Source Identification of Digital Camera Images Zeno J. Geradts, PhD*; Floris Gisolf, MSFS presentation on 13 February
Forensic Image Comparison of Feet Zeno J. Geradts, PhD*; Katerina Palla, MFS 
And of course I am looking forward to see many excellent papers and meeting many colleagues.
